Untreated and treated wood will now only be sold through transparent bidding.
“This means that the corrupt component that worked for decades has now been finally eliminated,” said Yuriy Bolokhovets, head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine.
Only licensed exchanges have the right to conduct auctions. Moreover, the stock exchanges already have a tool to prevent unscrupulous participants from participating in the next auction.
Direct contracts entered into at the beginning of military conditions will remain in effect until the end of May. In addition to electronic auctions, the exchange will be provided with a transparent electronic tool – a bulletin board.
