On October 18, 2022 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine installed a Temporary Investigation Commission (TIC)in order to Investigate possible facts of Inefficient activities of State Forest Resource Agency, State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine and the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine, their territorial bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations under their management, which could lead to a decrease in revenues to the state and local budgets.
The aim of the TIC is to (i) inspect and assess the financial and economic condition of enterprises, (ii) identify facts regarding possible violation of Ukrainian legislation, which could lead to a decrease in revenues to the state and local budgets, (iii) evaluate rational use of forest, water resources and state property at enterprises and (iv) verify compliance of managers of all levels involved in the state management of the mentioned organisations.
