SFI project proposes to improve the training course for NFI field workers

At the invitation of the Center for National Forest Inventory (CNFI), SFI National Project Coordinator of SFI-project Mr. Vitaliy Storozhuk took part in the collective training of field workers on the National Forest Inventory (NFI). According to the approved methodology, the participants of the training consistently underwent theoretical training and gained practical skills in measuring of training forest inventory plots using modern taxation measurement. According to Vitaliy Storozhuk, the CNFI has now accumulated enough information and experience to prepare a comprehensive e-course on preparing and conducting NFI field work with the support of the SFI-project. For the core of the course proposed to take taken the training program for fieldworkers of the German Federal Forest Inventory, as well as on the prototype of the e-learning system for SFI developed earlier by the experts of the Forest Component of the APD project.
